Doubles
Many of the lifts you will see were taken from pairs ice skating. Adagio doubles has developed into an act that calls for great team work between the guy and the girl, and timing. It combines strength, and timing as well as a great since of balance. You will see that the male skiers has use of both his hands as he is connected to a harness that is around his waist. His rope is in turn connect to the boat though a release mechanism. Many of the lifts that you see have been developed at the world famous Cypress Gardens the waterski capitol of the world.
Barefoot
You will see the guys skim across the water on nothing but their barefeet. At one time thought to be impossible, barefooting is an exciting and fast part of the Stars waterski show. With speeds up to 67 kph, our barefooters will show you a few different start methods but not just front barefoot but you will see the difficult back barefoot. You will be amazed how these guys get started and get to the point where they are speeding on top of the water with NO SKIS!
Comedy
A true favorite if the children. Depending on the option you choose there will be a clown and at time his girl fiend. You will see them try to be a part of the Stars Of Florida waterski show, with not much luck. But he will continue to try. The big question is will he try going over the jump?????? You will have to wait and see in the live performance. And guess what you will be able to meet him after the show and have your picture taken with him!!!!
Pyramid
The most photographed act in a ski show, the human pyramid can also be the most dangerous. Since Stars Of Florida's roots are at Cypress Gardens the "waterski capitol of the world", where the first ever 3 high, 4 high and 5 high pyramids were designed and built. Stars bring the experience of those many many years of history in building pyramids. Depending on the number of people on a given trip we can build as high as a 4 high on the road. You will see the fearless girls climb on the shoulders of the men, climbing higher and higher until they reach the top, where the young lady will show your countries flag on the very top!!!!
Jump
Freestyle jump is one of the most exciting acts of a water ski show. Stars Of Florida's team are the best of the best. The experienced jumpers fo our waterski show are true professionals. Many have been awarded into the highly honored 500 club, which is 500 jumps without a fall, regardless is water conditions, wind, etc. Stars also has a few to hit 1000, 1500 without a fall. This is important when someone is looking for a water ski show! Many world champions in freestyle jump have traveled with the Stars like Scott Clack, Dave Reinhart, and Zane Schwenk.You will see team work at its finest, with twist and flips that will amaze you.
